**A.** **BASIC FUNCTIONS**:

- Responsible for receiving the daily cash taking, daily deposit into the bank account, and preparation of the daily cash report.
- Responsible for maintaining, handling, disbursing, reimbursement, and recording petty cash.
- Must be honest, courteous, reliable, and capable of assisting other staff members in Accounting when he need arises.

**B.** **INTERACT WITH**:

- Accounts Receivable: Verification city ledger payment.

Reconciliation of credit card and city ledger payment compare with bank statement.
- Income Auditor: Reconcile computer system and remitted envelope.
- Account: Prepare bank reconciliation.

**C.** **DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To collect and verify together with a witness all envelopes of the daily deposits by the cashier.
- To prepare deposit slips of all cash taking and make the deposits to be collected by the bank staff.
- To supply all cashiers with small change and extra funds needed for weekends or particular events.
- To check daily his / her cash fund and to ensure that all petty cash dishbursements have been registered properly.
- To spot check the cashiers floats on a regular basis.
- To upload general cashier reports and send for review and signature of the Financial Controller on daily basis.
- To keep accurate records of petty cash fund and reports sent to Financial Controller on daily basis.
- To keep petty cash fun (house fund / float) safely and intact in the cash box / locker at all times.
- To raise petty cash voucher for all payment, take subsequent approval and attached relevant document before payment.
- Keep control over serial number of petty cash vouchers.
- To prepare and post all petty cash vouchers (journal vouchers) entries in the system.
- Reconcile and update petty cash summary report, attach all petty cash voucher and process for reimbursement and send for Financial Controller’s approval on a weekly basis.
- Prepare all cheques for the supplier payment as and when payments are processed from accounts payable.
- Keep all records and documents, day, weekly and month wise in proper labeled file/boxes at designated areas for quick reference.
- To assist other staff who needs assistance.
- To assist his / her Supervisor when the need arises.
- To undertake and complete any additional assigned jobs in any area of the accounting department.
