Qatar Doha Academy Full time

Doha Academy offers children aged 3 to 18 years a British-based education blended with the compulsory aspects of the Qatar National Curriculum (Arabic, Religion, and Qatar History). As per the UK system, children select their IGCSE options in Year 9 and work towards between seven and nine IGCSEs by the end of Year 11. Students then complete Year 12 as the final, compulsory year of their Secondary schooling, undertaking a minimum of three A-Level courses.

Being that the vast majority of our students originate from Qatar and the wider Arabic-speaking region of the Middle East & North Africa, the ability to also speak Arabic will be a real advantage. Doha Academy’s programs of study are delivered in English, however equal emphasis is placed on the development of students’ literacy skills in both English and Arabic.

It is an exciting time to join the Doha Academy group, with its two mains schools having recently gained full international accreditation with the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). The schools have now embarked on NEASC’s “ACE Learning” pathway, which focuses deeply on the quality of learning and teaching within a school’s specific context. Doha Academy is also currently a COBIS applicant school.
