HR and Legal Officer

HR Tasks:

- Perform monthly payroll.
- Develop training and development programs.
- Develop, implement and maintain corporate HR policies and ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations. Provide counseling on HR policies and procedures.
- Manage employee relations, including addressing employee grievances, disputes, and disciplinary matters
- Assist in developing and implementing employee performance management processes, including SMART goals/ KPIs setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
- Coordinate employees’ engagement initiatives, such as employee surveys, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employees' records and relevant paperwork.
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
- Stay updated with HR trends and best practices and make recommendations for continuous improvement of HR processes.
- Execute all travel arrangements: tickets, hotels, visas’ requirementetc.
- Assist with other Department admin tasks.

Legal Tasks:

- Giving accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics.
- Draft legal documents and contracts.
- Knowledge of and ability to review/ negotiate various types of commercial contracts drafts to ensure the company’s full legal rights.
- Monitor company compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Keep track of all legal documents and arrange for renewals as per tracked schedule.

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of Qatar Labor Law.
- Proven experience as a legal counsel and HR Officer in a business environment.
- Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- BSc degree in Law or equivalent.
- MA or BSc in Business Administration will be considered an advantage.

**Experience**:

- Legal: 1 year (preferred)
- HR: 1 year (preferred)
