Wyndham Hotels and Resorts is now seeking a Tailor to join our team at Wyndham Grand Doha West Bay Beach in Doha, Qatar.

**Job Summary**:
As a Tailor you are responsible to minor repair and alteration of all Team Member uniforms, Hotel curtains and draperies and maintenance and upkeep of the tailoring machines and equipment and the linen room.

It is not the intent of this job description to cover all aspects of the position but to highlight the most important areas of responsibility.

**General Requirements**:

- Execute minor repairs and alterations to all Team Member uniforms prior to them being issued from the Linen Room to maintain the professional appearance of all Team Member
- Repair and adjust all fitted and fixed curtains and draperies in the Hotel to maintain standards of upholstery.
- Maintain a daily log report of all the repairs and alteration works carried.
- Manage and report all maintenance needs of the machines under his control, inform the Linen Room Supervisor regarding sewing supplies required and keep the tailoring area clean and tidy.
- Assist and maintain an accurate inventory of all the fabrics and materials in stock in the Hotel.
- Assist the Linen Room Supervisor in relieving the Linen Room Attendant and answer the telephones as well as issuing uniforms to staff. Assist in the Rooms and Food & Beverage Linen inventories and convert the official discards into usable items for re-circulation.
- Repair Guest clothing in case of small alterations such as button replacements as requested by the laundry.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift

**Education & Experience**:
High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
