Restaurant Assistant Manager (Fine Dining Restaurant)

**Starting salary**: QAR 6,500 to QAR 7,000 (Full package / All in)

**Position Overview**:We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our establishment. As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will collaborate with the management team to maintain high standards of service, optimize efficiency, and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Operational Support:

- Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising and coordinating all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house, kitchen, and bar (if applicable).
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
- Step in to manage shifts and resolve issues when the Restaurant Manager is unavailable.
- Help implement and monitor standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Staff Management and Training:

- Support onboarding process for new staff members, ensuring they receive proper training and understand their roles.
- Provide guidance and support to restaurant staff, fostering a positive work culture and encouraging teamwork.
- Assist in scheduling and staff rotations to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and busy periods.

Customer Service and Guest Relations:

- Interact with guests, addressing their inquiries, feedback, and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Uphold the restaurant's service standards, ensuring that guests have a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.
- Collaborate with the team to resolve any customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

Inventory and Cost Control:

- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and tracking usage of ingredients, beverages, and other supplies.
- Work with the Restaurant Manager to implement cost-control measures without compromising quality.
- Contribute to the development of strategies to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.

Quality Control and Menu Support:

- Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain consistency in food quality and presentation.
- Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for seasonal menus and specials.
- Conduct regular checks of food and beverage offerings to ensure they meet the restaurant's standards.

Assist in Financial Management:

- Support the Restaurant Manager in developing and managing budgets and financial plans.
- Help analyze financial data and sales reports to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably as a Shift Supervisor or Assistant Manager.
- Solid knowledge of restaurant operations, including food service, safety protocols, and customer relations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities efficiently.
- Familiarity with restaurant software for point of sale (POS) and inventory management is a plus.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the restaurant's operating schedule.

**Salary**: QAR6,500.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
