Procurement Officer Document Controller

**As Procurement Officer**:
- Design, develop, implement, and document the supply chain processes and systems such as demand planning, purchasing workflows, cycle times, inventory management, and position responsibilities
- Design or implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
- Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality.
- Design or implement plant warehousing strategies for production materials or finished products.
- Diagram supply chain models to help facilitate discussions with customers.
- Develop material costs forecasts or standard cost lists.
- Confer with supply chain planners to forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products.
- Assess appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials.
- Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution.
- Appraise vendor manufacturing ability through on-site visits and measurements.
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.
- Develop or implement procedures or systems to evaluate or select suppliers.
- Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality.
- Analyse information about supplier performance or procurement program success.
- Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
- Analyse inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service.
- Participate in the coordination of product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow.
- Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, or receiving.
- Evaluate and select information or other technology solutions to improve tracking and reporting of materials or products distribution, storage, or inventory.
- Other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
**As Document Controller**:
- Copy, scan and store documents
- Check for accuracy and edit files
- Review and update technical documents (inventory, formulations, etc.)
- Distribute document copies to internal teams
- File documents in physical and digital records
- Create templates for future use
- Retrieve files as requested by employees
- Manage the flow of documentation within the laboratory
- Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information
- Count stocks of products
- Deliver and take stocks from the store and other retail sales shops
- Create delivery notes
- Prepare ad-hoc reports as needed
- Other related tasks as may be assigned from time to time
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
**Salary**: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
