**Manager Accommodation Services**

**About the role**

You will be responsible for managing the accommodation section ensuring all services are delivered in compliance with relevant policies, procedures and standards to the entire QR group, including HIA and Subsidiaries with the exception of QR Cabin Services Division. Contribute to the formation of the QR Group Accommodation strategy and manage operations in a collaborative and effective manner, ensuring effective liaison with Property Manager. Actively participate in the PRC (Property Review Committee) evaluations and provide inputs.

**Accountabilities**
- Lead the section to deliver a sustainable, supportive and effective housing unit allocation service to a diverse range of occupants ranging from General staff QR.01 - QR.13, all FD grades, EN and AM staff, all Subs and HIA ensuring QR staff have accommodation matching with QR standards.
- Demonstrate foresightedness in drawing up a master plan, encompassing the preceding period demand analysis, aligning it with the potential property acquisition pipeline, to showcase gaps/pitfalls.
- Lead the housing function (allocations, transfers, final clearances, jump ships), per the allocations policy, tracking under occupancy, determining priorities for transfers to optimize the portfolio.
- Act as arbitrator for accommodation damage compensation charged to occupants, in liaison with the Residential FM team, to close any disputes
- Establish and maintain a cost analysis matrix, demonstrating property rent paid vs. unit costs recharged to other QR divisions, highlighting variances due to vacancies etc.
- Investigate complaints from occupants, including service improvement suggestions to formulate a ‘lessons learnt’ document, promoting a continuous improvement work culture.
- Contribute to the Property Review Committee objectives by being and active member and providing inputs on the quality, location, of potential property leasing, to make certain external factors of staff safety & security are addressed.
- Work closely with the Properties team to minimize periods between building acceptance and allocations, balancing housing demand from internal divisions with adequate supply from the market, so as to keep vacancy costs at a minimum.

Qualifications

**About you**

You will possess:

- Minimum of 8 years specialist of job-related experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of Gulf experience in similar position with Corporate Housing / Industrial Organization is essential.
- Command of English language
- Valid Qatari or a transferable driving license
- Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
- People management and leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and should be IT knowledgeable
- Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
