**Job description**:
Charterhouse is working with an International Security and Defence market leader, who is looking to hire a Commercial Manager to join their team in the Qatar office. As the Commercial Manager you will report on a daily basis to the Qatar Programme Director, and work seamlessly with the Commercial Team in the UK.
**About the role**
Your main responsibilities will be providing commercial leadership and services to meet the operational needs of the organisation. You will also be responsible for building and developing relationships with overseas and local customers, and support planning, strategy and business development activities.
This role is critical in ensuring that commercial leadership and governance is maintained during the delivery of all contracts and that all contracts are delivered on a timely basis.
**About you**
You must be able to coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic operating environment, working with a high degree of autonomy. Mix of project controlling, estimation and contracts management is preferred as well as strong relationship building skills.
Excellent relationship management, influencing and organisational skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders is mandatory as well as strong communication skills in English is necessary.
