Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at The St. Regis Doha. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of daily kitchen utility operations and staff. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and driving guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing day-to-day kitchen operations, including ordering and managing necessary supplies, scheduling events, and monitoring inventory levels.
  • Verify that workers have the necessary supplies, equipment, tools, and uniforms to perform their jobs efficiently.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen and dining areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute special events, banquets, and catering services.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 3 years of experience in the culinary industry or related field preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality.
