About the Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Welding Manager to lead our team in Qatar.

About the Role

This is a contract and residential role, where you will work on a Multi-Billion LNG expansion project. As Head of Welding Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing welding operations and ensuring compliance with international codes and standards.

You will collaborate with the EPC Contractor and its subcontractors and vendors on welding engineering matters, reviewing and approving all Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and their associated qualification and testing procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee welding operations and ensure compliance with international codes and standards.
  • Review Contractor's and Vendor's welding deliverables, including Welding Procedure Specifications (WPSs) and welding qualification and testing procedures.
  • Support the QA/QC effort in welding qualification and control of welds.
  • Closely coordinate with other engineering disciplines and groups for proper understanding and implementation of the welding engineering requirements.
