Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and organized Accounts Assistant to join our team at ALI BIN ALI. In this role, you will be responsible for timely recording of transactions in the General Ledger and various sub-ledgers of the accounting system.

Additionally, you will assist in preparing documents related to banks, such as daily deposit slips, letters of credit, payments, cheques, etc. Your duties will also include assisting in monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.

You will ensure timely input for Inter Unit reconciliations and assist in verifying inventory and cash. Furthermore, you will perform fixed assets tagging and support physical verification processes.

In this role, you will also support the document management system as per company policies. Any other functions assigned by the immediate supervisor in relation to the functional area will also be your responsibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. A minimum University degree in Accounting & Commerce from a reputable university is required.
  2. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an accounting environment is necessary.
  3. Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel skills, is essential.
  4. Good business communication skills are also required.
