What You Will Do:

As a System Owner, you will be responsible for managing various ICT applications, such as process monitoring, data historian, laboratory management information systems, process information analytics, asset performance management systems, and process safety management. A crucial aspect of your role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring continuous availability and business continuity of deployed IT solutions through regular maintenance, effective incident management, and proactive risk assessments.

You will hold primary responsibility for managing and supporting ICT Systems/Solutions implemented for QatarEnergy's upstream and downstream process operations. Your key responsibilities include leading multiple IT projects to acquire or improve IT systems, providing maintenance and support by monitoring technical and contractual status, handling project activities including tender preparation and evaluation, reviewing user requirements, and compiling detailed Scope of Work documents.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in project delivery, system administration, and technical support.
  • Proficient in deploying and maintaining various ICT applications utilized in operational functions within the Oil & Gas Energy sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven expertise in defining and evolving the solution architecture for ICT systems.
  • Proven track record in managing ICT technology and system enhancement projects/initiatives.
  • Experienced in contract management, including tender management and vendor evaluation.
  • Highly skilled in maintaining business continuity and continuous ICT system availability.
  • Experienced in risk management, with a focus on proactive evaluations.
  • Experienced in ICT business strategy, automation, and digital transformation.
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills for project and SDLC documentation.
