We invite applications from talented individuals for the position of People and Organization Advisor. This challenging role offers a unique chance to collaborate with an international team and contribute to one of SMO's major projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement effective P&O policies, processes, tools, operations, and activities.
  • Ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding processes through close coordination with various P&O functional teams and business units.
  • Collaborate closely with Regional P&O Business Partners and P&O Expert Teams to synchronize global and local people strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships with country management teams through balanced advisory, consulting, and team collaboration roles.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into P&O-related matters and guarantee the closure of all assigned cases and disciplinary actions.
  • Promote a culture of safety and well-being, collaborating closely with the EHS team to enforce best practices.
  • Organize employee events and assist in communication and marketing initiatives focused on employee well-being.
  • Support the evaluation and updating of P&O-related policies to ensure compliance with legal standards and industry best practices.
  • Develop a profound understanding of SMO's people processes and guide internal stakeholders.
  • Support leadership development and internship programs.
  • Assist in succession planning and talent development.
  • Manage data and documentation handling at the local level.
Necessary Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in People & Organization.
  • Experience in the railway industry is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and professional interactions with management.
  • A proactive team player who excels in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
