This position reports directly to the Service Operation Manager.

Your Key Responsibilities

You will lead the development of proposals that accurately reflect customer specifications and meet local business and feeder factory guidelines. Each day, you'll analyze market trends, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights to drive future success. Your expertise will also be utilized in defining costs, preparing documentation, and providing technical support to clients. The work model for this role is onsite, focusing on electrification in Qatar.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Collaborating with the local Sales organization/customers to determine suitable solutions and prepare competitive offers.
  • Developing and supporting the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer requirements and Sales organization directives.
  • Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
  • Conducting lost proposal analysis, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending changes to enhance future results.
  • Defining costs for proposed solutions and communicating them to the Sales organization.
  • Contributing to risk review processes and ensuring compliance with ABB policy.
  • Integrating HSE and integrity requirements into business processes and applications.
  • Participating in project kick-off meetings.
  • Providing technical support during client meetings and offering product/service-related training.

Qualifications for Success

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Deep knowledge of LV & MV components.
