We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Demi Chef de Partie to join our team at IHG Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and coordinate daily food preparation and mise-en-place in the main and hot kitchen sections.
  • Work closely with the Chef De Partie or Sous Chef to ensure seamless task coordination and execution.
  • Follow instructions and recommendations from immediate superiors to complete daily tasks.
  • Ensure consistent quality and high standards in food preparation, staying up-to-date with new products, recipes, and techniques.
  • Lead and instruct subordinates in food preparation, setting up and supervising buffets and special functions.
  • Coordinate with other sections on requirements, cleanliness, wastage, and cost control.
  • Consult and check on daily requirements, functions, and events, liaising with the team accordingly.
  • Train and guide subordinates to ensure high motivation and an efficient working environment.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of related experience, including at least 1 year in the same role.
  • Strong background in HACCP procedures and application.
  • Good practical, operational, and administrative skills.
  • A true team player mentality and flexible attitude towards diverse tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills.
