About the Location

Our Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar offers a new Four Seasons experience in Doha, Qatar. This glamorous beachfront home provides residential comfort in expansive apartments and residences, each with a full kitchen and breathtaking views of the city or sea.

Our resort features seven restaurants and bars, including Joùl Robuchon, and a Loulou Spa, beach, and pools. Intuitive Four Seasons service sets the new standard for luxury beachfront living in Doha.

About the Role

We are seeking an Executive Pastry Chef to join our talented team. This individual will take ownership of their role and operation, quickly connecting with those around them. Confidence, adaptability, and the assurance of a quality experience make a successful candidate for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the selection, training, development, and evaluation of employees and managers in the Kitchen’s bake/pastry shop through effective management and leadership.
  • Assist in the planning and development of menus for the hotel, ensuring the correct preparation and presentation of a consistent level for all food items prepared.
  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control.
  • Ensure that sanitation standards as set forth by Four Seasons, local, state, and federal regulations are in compliance, as well as the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
  • Set up control systems that will assure quality and portion consistency and the ability to create proper purchasing specifications as well as monitor and review operating criteria.
  • Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met, and attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
  • Listen to understand requests, respond with appropriate actions, and provide accurate information.
  • Comply with Four Seasons Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent command of English, Arabic is an advantage.
  • Service Passion for Luxury Hospitality and an eye to details.
