- Prepare and manage the Business Development budget, monitoring financial performance versus the budget to identify areas of unsatisfactory performance.
- Develop a thorough understanding of clients' organizations in Qatar and global practices, maintaining proximity to clients and identifying new opportunities in the market.
- Manage the liaison with internal stakeholders, including Procurement, Marketing, and Operations departments, to gather relevant inputs and identify new business development opportunities.
- Provide inputs to the Technical department on client needs and market trends, enabling services enhancement and catering to client needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with new clients, setting up meetings and understanding their needs for new services.
- Participate in meetings with clients for post-bid reviews, post-contract awards, and other meetings to ensure smooth client relationship management.
- Keep aware of all services clients are utilizing from ENOVA, all issues and requests raised, to ensure awareness about the client.
- Prepare the technical and commercial aspects of the bid, providing necessary feedback to the team to ensure compliance with standards, quality, and timeframes.
- Manage and track potential risks of a project, highlighting these in the proposals to ensure the company is aware of these risks and can mitigate them.
- Resolve any technical or commercial issues raised by the team in a bid management process, escalating complex issues to the line manager.
- Maintain confidentiality of client data and information, ensuring safeguarding the integrity of such data and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering
- 12+ years of experience in the Business Development working environment in Qatar
- Ability to understand clients' needs, build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and clients, and close deals.
- Ability to prepare Facilities Management and/or Energy Management proposals from a commercial and technical perspective.
- Excellent project management skills, PMP
- Excellent communication skills in English, written and oral
