Key Responsibilities:- Provide administrative support to the project team, including coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of project activities, including retrieving, compiling, and presenting information/data on specific project topics.
- Support the administrative coordination of project implementation, involving liaison with diverse organizational units and external parties to initiate requests, obtain necessary clearances, process, and follow up on administrative actions.
- Draft status reports, identifying shortfalls in delivery, and bringing them to the attention of the supervisor.
- Respond to general information requests and inquiries, set up and maintain files/records, and perform other related duties as assigned.
- School diploma with four years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree in political or social sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights Law, or related fields from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies, and non-governmental organizations.
- Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking, and other vulnerable groups.
- Prior relevant professional experience in NFIs distribution in a humanitarian context and prior experience working in camps.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Publisher) and Office 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams).
- Excellent operational, organizational, and communication skills, and the ability to work harmoniously with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Proven experience in drafting reports and other information products.
- Experience in project management, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting will be an advantage.
IOM's official languages are English, French, and Spanish. For this position, fluency in English is required (oral and written). Working knowledge of Arabic, Dari, Pashto, and Urdu is an added advantage.
