About the Role

The Senior Trader will be responsible for managing the Liquidity Provision desk, developing strategies for sponsored and proprietary Liquidity Provision, analyzing stock price movement and identifying trading pairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the LP desk in adherence to QNBFS policies and procedures
  • Develop strategies for sponsored and proprietary LP within set guidelines
  • Analyze stock price movement vis-à-vis overall market, sector and identify trading pairs
  • Operate within trading limits and risk parameters set per security and for overall LP business
  • Achieve targets set within defined trading size, spread, time and quantity
  • Tally LP trading with QE records and evaluate the value at risk on daily open positions
  • Daily calibration of positions to be bought/sold in the selected securities, vetted by the HoT and CFO
  • Daily reporting of positions, marked to market valuation and value at risk to HoT, CFO and Compliance Officer
