Key Responsibilities:

  1. Eye Testing and Prescription Writing: Perform thorough eye tests and write accurate prescriptions to ensure our customers receive the best possible care.
  2. Dispensing and Selling Eyewear: Dispense and sell optical frames, contact lenses, and sunglasses to our customers, ensuring they find the perfect eyewear to suit their needs.
  3. Quality Control: Check optical frames and contact lenses for accuracy and comfort, guaranteeing our customers receive high-quality products.
  4. Customer Advisement: Advise customers on eyewear options, optical lenses, and contact lenses, helping them make informed decisions about their eye care.
  5. Sales Target Achievement: Meet sales targets with regard to selling optical frames, sunglasses, contact lenses, and other accessories.
  6. Support to Sales Staff: Support sales staff in their day-to-day transactions, ensuring seamless customer service.
  7. In-Shop Inventory Management: Perform in-shop inventory and ordering stocks to maintain an efficient supply chain.
  8. General Maintenance: Maintain general cleanliness and hygiene standards within the store.
  9. Liaising with Suppliers: Liaise with sales representatives from eye care product suppliers to source high-quality products.

About You

  • You have a Valid QCHP Optometrist Practicing License or can fulfill QCHP eligibility requirements.
  • You possess 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in a retail optical store environment.
  • You have good knowledge of lenses & other eyewear products.
  • You are well-versed with vision disorders.
  • You are aware of the latest equipment & techniques for vision correction.
  • You are computer savvy.
  • Please note that this role is available only for Arabic nationals.
