The role of the Student Experience Coordinator at PS Tech focuses on enhancing student engagement, retention, and overall satisfaction. The coordinator develops and implements initiatives that support student welfare, extracurricular activities, and academic success.

Key Responsibilities

Student Engagement and Support

  • Develop and implement programs to enhance the student experience, including orientation, academic advising, and support services.
  • Provide timely resolution of issues related to academic and non-academic matters as a point of contact for students.
  • Collaborate with student organizations and leadership groups to facilitate engagement and co-curricular activities.
  • Organize student feedback mechanisms such as surveys and focus groups to assess student satisfaction and areas for improvement.

Events and Activities Coordination

  • Plan and execute student-centered events, including cultural, academic, and social activities.
  • Work with internal departments to support student-led initiatives and extracurricular programs.
  • Coordinate workshops and seminars that contribute to student personal and professional development.

Student Welfare and Wellbeing

  • Provide guidance and support for students facing personal, academic, or social challenges.
  • Evaluate available counseling, mentorship, and wellbeing resources for students.
  • Assist in implementing policies that promote inclusivity, diversity, and a safe learning environment.

Academic and Administrative Support

  • Support the Academic Registry in ensuring students receive timely academic guidance and administrative assistance.
  • Assist with student records management, tracking student engagement, and generating reports for institutional improvement.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to improve student retention strategies.
