About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bidding and Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at Siemens Digital Industries. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the automation and digitalization space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and revenue in the Middle East region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, including major oil and gas end-users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver high-quality proposals and bids that meet customer needs.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers, including product specification development and technical advice.
  • Manage and document customer requirements, ensuring compliance with Siemens procedures and guidelines.
  • Conduct site surveys and prepare cost calculations, including commercial risk assessments and quantifications.
  • Support the sales team with customer care initiatives, presentations, and events as needed.
Requirements
  • At least 7-8 years of experience in sales and bid management, with a strong background in automation and digitalization.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical, automation, electronics, computer science, or mechatronics engineering.
  • Extensive experience in bidding for oil and gas customers in Qatar or with major oil and gas end-users in the Middle East.
  • Strong technical knowledge of PLC, DCS, field instruments, and networking components.
  • Proven track record of creating strong technical and commercial proposals.
  • Fundamental knowledge of digitalization, including IoT and AI.
