Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and hardworking Reservation Executive to support the operations of The Center for Investment and Financial Studies at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar.
About Us: The QIA Center for Investment and Financial Studies at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar is a leading institution in business education. Our mission is to provide high-quality executive education programs that cater to the needs of businesses in the region.
Your Role: As a Reservation Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operations of our executive education workshops. Your primary responsibility will be to provide logistical support to organize these workshops, ensuring their smooth execution.
Duties: Some of your key duties will include:
- Providing logistical support to organize the executive education workshops.
- Engaging with various departments at CMUQ to ensure the smooth running of The Center.
- Working with faculty in designing and creating content for the workshops.
- Providing teaching support during the workshops both with and independent of the faculty.
- Working with faculty in conducting research and writing case studies that may be used for classroom teaching.
- Providing support to The Center in conducting outreach activities and speaker sessions.
- Working with The Center leadership to provide general support for the running of The Center.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of business and excellent organizational skills. Ideally, you should have a graduate degree from an accredited business program. You should also be comfortable working with Excel and have proficiency in managing and assisting with lectures as well as running teaching sessions independently.
