Job Description

You will lead a team of software engineers, including backend, QA, iOS, and Android engineers. Your role involves developing world-class software systems and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features.

As a tech lead with a strong backend background, you will oversee the development process from design to deployment. You will have the opportunity to make high-impact contributions by building a hyper-scale delivery and logistic system used daily by thousands of users in Qatar.

  1. Develop and implement technical strategies and roadmaps.
  2. Build a back-end platform including templates, libraries, code guides, etc.
  3. Optimize system performance and ensure scalability.
  4. Lead the design and development of complex systems.
  5. Mentor and guide a team of engineers, promoting collaboration and productivity.
  6. Take responsibility for end-to-end project delivery, from concept to deployment.
  7. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  8. Coordinate with product managers to define technical requirements and project timelines.
  9. Manage technical risks and issues, providing solutions for project success.
  10. Facilitate communication and collaboration across different engineering teams.
  11. Analyze business metrics using analytics tools.
  12. Create detailed technical documentation and specifications.
  13. Handle incidents within the team's responsibility zone.
  14. Organize regular team meetings, collect feedback, and propose improvements.
  15. Ensure the team follows company processes and rules.
