The Security and Facilities Operations Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of DHL Express's facilities, personnel, and assets. This includes implementing and maintaining effective health and safety policies and procedures, as well as ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.

As a Security and Facilities Operations Manager, you will have the chance to work with a diverse range of customers and stakeholders, providing them with exceptional service and support.

Your duties will include:

  • Implementing and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures;
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws;
  • Managing budgets and coordinating with vendors, staff, and other stakeholders;
  • Developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans;
  • Scheduling and supervising repairs, maintenance, and renovations;
Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills and interpersonal style;
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize workload;
  • Ability to effectively contribute as a team member as part of a busy team;
  • Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative/judgment to solve job-related issues;
  • Good understanding of the DHL Network;
  • Strong problem-solving capability;
  • Passion to provide excellent Customer Service;
  • Right first-time philosophy;
  • 5-7 years work experience in the police force, armed forces, or security industry;
  • Good PC skills;
  • Excellent numeric/analytical skills;
  • Knowledge of security aids and equipment;
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills;
  • Good People Management skills;
  • Ability to build good working relationships;
  • Valid Driving license;
  • Good knowledge of DHL systems and procedures;
  • Investigative experience highly desired;
