  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our wildlife hazard management plan, working closely with our team to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Patrol the airside, monitoring wildlife activity and reporting any incidents or sightings to our line manager.
  • Implement training programs for airport safety staff on wildlife hazard management, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with our ATC team to coordinate wildlife hazard responses and provide real-time information on bird strike conditions.
  • Monitor and control wildlife populations, using approved methods to minimize the risk of bird strikes and other hazards.
  • Provide wildlife awareness training for airside users, ensuring that all staff are aware of the risks and take necessary precautions.
  • Deploy and manage wildlife control tools, such as traps and cages, to minimize the risk of wildlife hazards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Zoology, Ornithology, or Environmental Science.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in wildlife hazard management or a related field.
  • Training certification courses in Aerodrome Safety Management, Wildlife Hazard, and other relevant areas are an advantage.
