About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cash Desk Sales Associate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment in a secure and responsible manner.
  • Ensure that all cash and documentation are secure at all times.
  • Be responsible for cash variances at the end of each shift.
  • Provide the highest levels of customer service, ensuring that customers leave the shop feeling valued and satisfied.
  • Address customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a high level of security on stocks and cash at all times.
Requirements
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • English communication skills.
  • Previous retail and/or customer service experience is preferred.
  • Basic PC skills and knowledge of POS systems.
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
