Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer I to provide on-site supervision of the Logging-While-Drilling (LWD) process, ensuring accurate and timely data delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise LWD tool preparations, data acquisition, log generation, and Quality Control (QC) delivery
  • Assist in ensuring data accuracy, timeliness, and meets highest service quality standards
  • Provide technical consultation to clients on mud hydraulics, BHA planning, formation evaluation, drilling tendencies, and BHA dynamics
  • Test tools and equipment before, during, and after each job, identifying and correcting operational problems
  • Accurately complete required forms, databases, and reports

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in a STEM discipline
  • Completion of basic M/LWD training program and 3-9 months working as a Field Prof-LWD, Assoc.
  • Successful completion of company tests or meeting task guideline requirements
  • Ability to demonstrate technical aptitude to required standards
  • Good communication, arithmetic, data entry, and recording skills
  • Ability to read and interpret formation well logs and directional survey information
  • Relevant on and offshore safety certificates

Location: Jaidah Tower, Doha, Qatar

Compensation Information: Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
