About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Optimization Specialist to join our team at MatchaTalent. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving manufacturing excellence across our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer benchmarking studies for our facilities to identify areas for improvement.
- Collect, verify, and review data quality during benchmarking to ensure accuracy.
- Assess competitive positions based on benchmarking results to inform strategic decisions.
- Document findings and recommendations for presentation to management.
- Lead the planning and execution of solutions to address identified performance gaps.
- Create expense/margin optimization plans for our facilities.
- Coordinate with affiliates to establish performance targets and track progress using metrics.
- Evaluate the future impact of planned capital improvements.
- Develop regular benchmarking reports with metrics for all facilities.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in refinery and/or chemical process units, with at least 5 years specializing in benchmarking and metric analysis.
- Essential working knowledge of refinery and chemical industry process plant characteristics.
- Ability to facilitate technical discussions and influence stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis and data visualization tools is essential.
