Job Overview

As a Construction Lifting Manager at Brunel, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe execution of lifting and scaffolding operations on our projects. This position requires a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in lifting engineering, offshore and onshore crane operation, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the focal point on site for all lifting and scaffolding works, ensuring compliance with Company Safety, Health, and regulations.
  • Liaise with contractors to verify and ensure all lifting activities are well planned, with risk factors considered and adequate lifting plans in place.
  • Provide technical support for the selection and qualification of lifting operations, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring effective processes and procedures meet standards and requirements.
  • Perform daily inspections using safety tools, such as JSA's, method statements, PTW, and compliance checklists, and track actions for closure.
  • Review and recommend improvements to key scaffolding and lifting practices, procedures, and plans to ensure effective project execution.

Requirements:
  • 8 years' overall experience, minimum 3 years in a similar role.
  • LEEA Level 3 certified or HNC/NVQ Level Rigging and lifting.
  • BS5975/CITB/CISRS Advanced scaffolding Inspector.
  • Knowledge of offshore and onshore cranes and International standards like LOLER, ILO, BS, and PUWER.
  • Experience in fabrication yards with multilingual workers and international project experience.
  • Valid Bosiet is a plus.
