About the role at People Dynamics

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team, with a strong background in structural engineering and 3+ years of related work experience.
  • The ideal candidate will be a registered MME engineer and possess a strong understanding of design codes, including Ashghal IAN009 and other structural design related Interim Advice Notes, British Standards, Eurocode, and AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications.
  • Responsibilities will include:
    • Designing bridges, tunnels, underpasses, retaining walls, car parks, and public infrastructure-related buildings/structures
    • Producing design drawings, calculations reports, and specifications
    • Supervising other engineers and CAD teams as per project task assigned
    • Providing technical guidance to younger engineers
    • Utilizing standard engineering principles, techniques, and analyses to complete conventional, moderately complex assignments within the structure discipline
    • Tracking the progress of assigned designs and reporting to senior and principal engineers on status and any issues that may arise during design development
  • The successful candidate will be self-motivated, require minor supervision on committed tasks, and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in utilizing engineering software packages associated with the structures discipline, including Revit, Midas Civil, CSi Bridge, SAP2000, and AutoCAD, is highly desirable.
