Key Responsibilities

As a Board Management Office Specialist at Sidra Medicine Doha, you will be responsible for:

Board Meeting Management
  • Scheduling and coordinating board meetings, including setting agendas and distributing notifications.
  • Ensuring timely distribution of meeting materials and reports to board members.
  • Recording and archiving official documentation, including Chairperson's Decisions and Resolutions.
Meeting Support
  • Attending board meetings to take accurate minutes and document discussions.
  • Compiling and distributing meeting minutes to board members and relevant parties.
  • Following up on actions and decisions in a timely manner.
Board Governance and Compliance
  • Staying up-to-date with corporate governance regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Assisting in maintaining board policies, bylaws, and charters.
  • Coordinating with legal and compliance teams to ensure documentation is in compliance with regulations.
Communication and Correspondence
  • Acting as a liaison between the board of directors and executive leadership.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence on behalf of the board.
  • Assisting in drafting and editing board-related documents and reports.
Board Development and Training
  • Facilitating board orientation and training for new Governors.
  • Organizing continuing education opportunities for board members to enhance their governance skills.
