About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Team Leader to join our team at Qatar Airways Group. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our commercial properties, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with our quality and safety policies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance personnel, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
  2. Liaise with external contractors and internal clients to ensure seamless communication and delivery of services.
  3. Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure the efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  4. Conduct regular site visits to monitor maintenance activities and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Collaborate with the facilities management team to ensure that all maintenance activities are aligned with our overall business objectives.
  6. Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with our safety and quality policies.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external contractors and suppliers to ensure that we receive the best possible service and value for money.
  8. Monitor and report on maintenance activities, including costs, schedules, and quality performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as facilities management or engineering.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, preferably in a commercial or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing circumstances.
  • Valid Qatari driving license and ability to travel to various locations as required.
