About the Position

This Ground Handling Services Executive will oversee all aspects of terminal operations, ensuring seamless execution, and driving business growth through customer-centric strategies.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to boost terminal performance, streamline processes, and identify new revenue streams.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute operational excellence initiatives, leveraging best practices and technology to enhance customer experience.
  3. Pursue key projects that drive business benefits, employee engagement, and stakeholder satisfaction through collaborative leadership and strategic planning.
  4. Analyze real-time data to inform operational decisions, identifying areas for improvement and seizing opportunities for growth and innovation.
  5. Ensure effective planning and execution of terminal operations, allocating resources to meet operational requirements and maintaining high-quality outputs.
  6. Explore and implement innovative technologies to simplify processes, enhance productivity, and elevate customer experience, while fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  7. Nurture strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, including customer-facing departments, to drive collaborative problem-solving and service excellence.
  8. Optimize resource utilization, ensuring efficient allocation of manpower, equipment, and facilities to support operational success.
  9. Maintain a safe and secure working environment by conducting regular spot checks and adhering to established safety and security protocols.
  10. Foster a culture of transparency and accountability within the team, promoting timely and accurate incident reporting and investigation.
  11. Deliver critical information to senior management regarding irregular airport operations, enabling informed decision-making and mitigating potential disruptions.
  12. Oversee contractual staff requirements and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure smooth operations and adaptability in response to changing circumstances.
  13. Establish and maintain single points of contact with customs, airlines, and governmental agencies, facilitating seamless communication and cooperation.
  14. Set measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for line managers, duty managers, and supervisors to align with operational and financial objectives.
  15. Lead the Terminal Management Team, equipping them to take ownership of their responsibilities and achieve exceptional results.
  16. Respond creatively to extraordinary challenges, including flight disruptions, IT issues, and weather conditions, to maintain operational resilience and excellence.
