To support our vision, we are seeking a talented Cargo Claims Officer to join our Global Sales Team in Doha. This exciting opportunity will challenge your skills and experience, and provide a platform for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and process formal cargo claims and complaints in a timely manner, adhering to departmental KPIs.
  • Manage databases and maintain reports on cargo claims and consignment-related non-conformances for analytical and business support purposes.
  • Identify service failures through claims investigations and escalate to the Regional Cargo Management and Cargo Quality & Compliance teams.
  • Analyze trends in claims and shipment-related non-conformances, and implement measures to prevent future occurrences through collaboration with Cargo NHPs and QR's internal departments.
  • Review and endorse claim approvals/rejections, and follow up with Finance on outstanding payments to customers and claim recoveries from third parties.
  • Ensure timely claim processing and prompt escalation to management of ground handling partners on delays in providing necessary information.
  • Lead internal process developments and system enhancement projects to elevate customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in airline/cargo operations and cargo claims handling.
  • Good knowledge of air cargo conventions and IATA rules and regulations applied on air carriage.
  • Proficiency in CROAMIS and MS Office.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to foster a culture of data-driven decision making.
  • Strong command of the English language.
  • Team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
