About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Delivery Manager to lead our digital transformation journey. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the technology products and services portfolio for our different business lines.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver large-scale IT programs/projects in alignment with our organization's strategic plans and objectives.
  • Formulate technical solutions and lead the delivery while working closely with our Product Owners/Delivery leads.
  • Collaborate with our business leaders (VPs and above) in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Drive innovation to ensure that solutions drive value to our business.
  • Develop and implement communication plans, engage stakeholders across business functions, control and report progress to our Steering Group/Sponsor, and escalate any issues in a timely manner.
  • Identify inter-dependencies between various stakeholder groups to ensure alignment and that risks are identified, mitigated, and communicated.
  • Ensure that appropriately skilled resources are delivering the project and manage the availability and performance of those consultants.
  • Oversee and supervise employees, mentor, coach, and build technology competence in our delivery resources, managing their career aspirations.
  • Liaise with external 3rd party suppliers and internal departments/IT teams to collaborate and design and implement robust, secure solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree with a minimum of 8 years of technical delivery experience.
  • Hands-on experience in managing large program/project delivery execution through onsite/offshore models, vendor management, mobilizing large teams, and working across multiple technology platforms and tools.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the delivery teams, working closely with project managers to manage project schedules/timelines.
  • Experience in business process transformation and leveraging technology in automation of manual processes, implementing performance improvement initiatives, and recommending best practices.
  • Expertise in Agile/Waterfall software development practices, Design Thinking, Lean Software Management, DevSecOps, and Engineering Platform concepts are strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal) and presentation skills at organization leadership levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Must be a go-getter with a positive attitude, self-motivating, innovative, open-minded, and inspiring.
  • PMI or other industry-leading certifications around Project Management and Agile methodologies are preferred.
  • Airline, Retail, or Hotel Industry Loyalty Domain experience will be an added advantage.
