Job Overview

The Blue Group is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to oversee the management of our inventory operations. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate tracking and efficient stock management.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor inventory turnover ratio and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize the ratio.
  • Identify dead stock and slow-moving items.
  • Review material requirement planning (MRP) parameters and implement inventory policies for seasonal and non-seasonal categories.
  • Audit the receiving of inventory, summarize daily audit reports, and verify accurate item descriptions.
  • Organize and maintain the inventory floor area for efficient material storage and handling, and establish a labeling system on stock items. Issue periodic reports to the Inventory Manager summarizing audit activities.
  • Assist in preparation for biannual warehouse and showroom inventory audits.
  • Control company saleable goods, conduct stock counts for all materials, and make adjustments in the system.
  • Manage all inventory movements in the system properly.
  • Create new UPCs.
  • Maintain accurate counts of all merchandise on the sales floor, with a focus on receiving and identifying discrepancies.
