About the Job

  1. Provide expert guidance on instrument construction and implementation of modifications or additions to existing control facilities.
  2. Assist in reviewing design and construction packages for new projects, collaborating with external contractors as needed.
  3. Oversee upgrade/replacement works of instrumentation and control equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  4. Coordinate site work for instrumentation modification undertaken by external consultants/contractors, providing close supervision.
  5. Allocate daily work assignments, sign work permits, requisition materials, and arrange for special support services, coordinating work with other departments.
  6. Conduct job hazard analysis and risk assessment studies.
  7. E nsure contractor compliance with HSE regulations.
  8. Participate in FAT, SAT, and HAZOP/Safety reviews.
  9. Provide site information to engineers for preparing records/statistics on construction performance improvements and equipment modifications.
  10. Prepare site construction progress reports.
  11. Resolve technical problems found during construction and commissioning.
  12. Act as a witness to site acceptance testing during pre-commissioning and commissioning of works.
  13. Collaborate with operations on punch listing verification and rectification.
  14. Review IFC (Issued for Construction Drawings) and provide input prior to finalization.

About the Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, including a day rate in QAR plus allowance, and a 9-hour workday, 6 days a week. The position is available until 26 June 2024, with possible extension.
