Key Responsibilities

The Workers Welfare Lead will be responsible for the following key areas:

  • Worker Welfare Program Development: Establish and manage a comprehensive Worker Welfare program that aligns with Project, LNG, and Ras Laffan Industrial City policies and procedures;
  • Contractor Collaboration: Collaborate with contractors to develop protocols for various aspects of Worker Welfare, including Safety, Social Works, Industrial Hygiene, Camp Management, Mental Health, Human Rights, Grievance Management, Dispute Resolution, and other related matters;
  • Performance Monitoring: Maintain and review Worker Welfare performance data, generate reports, and recommend improvement action plans;
  • Camp Standards: Closely monitor camp accommodations and food standards, report deficiencies, and collaborate with Leadership Teams for intervention;
  • Leadership and Communication: Demonstrate strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
