At SEND Recruitment, we are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at one of our schools in Doha. As a Bilingual Speech and Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in providing tiered support for students with diverse and complex needs.

This position is ideal for an exceptional educator and specialist who is passionate about making a difference in children's lives. You will identify students with communication disorders through testing, provide detailed assessments and recommendations, deliver therapy, and support both students and staff with strategies and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language abilities, focusing on feeding and swallowing challenges.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' specific needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services, including one-on-one, small group, and large group instruction.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create an inclusive educational environment.
  • Train and support school staff on speech and language development and interventions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions using data-driven approaches.
  • Advocate for best practices in speech and language therapy within the educational setting.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or postgraduate certification in Speech and Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Certified and/or licensed as a Speech and Language Pathologist, with expertise in working with ASD and/or complex SEND preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant full-time experience in speech and language pathology.
  • Proven experience working with Complex SEND learners in various instructional settings.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
