- Provide effective and efficient management of the HSE and Food hygiene aspects, implementation of HACCP compliance systems within our Restaurant units, Fast Food Outlets, Coffee Shops, Institutional Food Service Operations, Catering Units, Central Warehouse, Staff Accommodations, Head Office & other Business operations in Qatar.
- Provide regular written reports, as well as other production-related results and updates the Directors and Managing Director.
- Devise, develop, supervise, and coordinate scheduled Team members’ audits and report any non-compliance to Directors and the Managing Directors.
- Ensure adequate and appropriate provision of emergency procedures, first-aid facilities, safety signs, relevant protective safety gears, equipment’s and clothing are provided at work sites.
- Devise, develop, supervise, and coordinate QHSE related training programs or media presentations and Implement the Food Safety training of the HACCP type system on which will increase proficiency in safe practices and promote food safety & HSE consciousness.
- Actively participate in the scheduling of safety meetings and mock food/fire drills across Company locations to review QHSE performance and policies.
- Provide timely advice in respect to appropriate Safety Management & Performance evaluations to ensure the avoidance of Safety Violations.
- Implement Health Safety and Environmental activities at all business units ensuring their alignment with company standards, local rules and regulations and international practice.
- Address specific reporting and record keeping requirements of HSE & HACCP as well as other pertinent safety/regulatory compliance matters and to ensure project sites are in compliance.
- Make and recommend necessary changes to the existing program to maximize its effect.
- Stay up-to-date of current and emerging technical and professional aspects of this position and have close observation and reporting on QHSE practices and systems, Manage QHSE data, complaints trend analysis.
- To assist with and participate in sales presentations and provide inputs into tender, proposals relating to HSE & HACCP system requirements.
- To conduct the critical auditing, inspections and surprise visits / checks.
- To participate and attend industry related conferences when requested to do so.
- To lead and assist in the implementation of corrective actions as it relates to the incident and ensure “lessons learned” are communicated throughout the company and are incorporated into the program, if necessary.
- To lead, support and assist project team in investigation of the Food Safety issues, Job Hazard Analysis, Risk Assessment, Environmental monitoring and Incident investigation analysis and ensure proper records are completed and submitted.
- Meet with clients’ representative on regular basis to develop excellent working relationship.
- To review suppliers’ compliance with QHSE Standards.
- Assist the Operations Managers during mobilization of new business operation, project. Visit new sites; conduct the pre-mobilization audit related to HSE & HACCP and support departmental monitoring to ensure that contractual terms and conditions related to HSE and HACCP standards are followed.
- To ensure requirement compliance on any External/Internal audits related to ISO, Qatar Foundation, HMC, Supreme Committee, Milaha and client projects.
- To develop an annual budget recommendations and implementation.
- All documents/records related to Food Safety & HSE (where applicable) shall be kept up to date.
