Senior BIM Modeler

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior BIM Modeler **to join our team In this role you will get to support the BIM Coordinator and our Project Delivery Teams to execute the day-to-day development, establishment and implementation of BIM in Parsons Main office in Doha.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- The BIM Modeler is required to possess strong computer CAD/BIM and technical skills to produce 3D/2D dimensional models required for model and drawing production, quality checking and control, coordination and constructability analysis.
- Support the BIM Coordinator and Project Delivery Team(s) in day-to-day BIM implementation activities.
- Develop Civil3D Modeling and production Templates.
- Develop Infrastructure Model library objects.
- Develop 3D/2D dimensional models required for drawing preparation, clash reporting and presentation aligned with the project LOD requirements and modeling standards.
- Extract 3D solid models for clash analysis, schedule review and QS.
- Extract Infrastructure Design layouts, schedules, profiles, sections and cutsheets dynamically from the BIM model.
- Prepare engineering drawings comprises of basic arrangements, layouts, profiles, sections etc.
- Develop and extract 2D geometry from the models for internal reviews and coordination meetings.
- Ensure Project Information Models (PIM’s) are delivered in accordance with the agreed TIDP, MIDP and CDE protocol.
- Prepare BIM package submissions in accordance with project standards and requirements.
- Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs
- Prepare models and reports for constructability analysis.

**What Required Skills You’ll Bring**
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Modelling and Drafting of overall infrastructure projects.
- Proficient in a range of BIM Authoring, Scripting, Design Review, Coordination, Simulations and Collaboration Platforms:

- Essentials: (Civil 3D, Part Builder, Content Catalog Editor, Infrastructure Parts Editor, Autodesk Inventor professional, Subassembly Composer, Dynamo, Navisworks, ProjectWise).
- Preferable: (Infraworks, Revit, AECOSIM, Grasshopper, VICO, Cost X, Synchro, BIM 360).
- Gulf Countries Experience is Preferred.

- Possess Excellent Oral Communication Skills with an Ability to Form Effective Relationships with Project Delivery Team, Client, and Contractor under Time Pressure.
- Possess the ability to Develop Analytical Reports and Presentations.
