Security Manager

**Position**: Security Manager **(Qatari Nationals Only)**
**Location**: 4-Star Hotel, Qatar
**Salary**: Total Package of **QAR 8,000 (inclusive of all allowances)**

Are you a Qatari national with experience in security management? Join our dynamic team at a prestigious 4-star hotel in Qatar. We are seeking a skilled **Security Manager** to lead our security department and ensure the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property.

**Scope and General Purpose**

The Security Manager oversees the daily operations of the Security Department, ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and hotel property. The role includes supervising and training security personnel, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and handling incidents such as accidents, theft, and emergencies. This position serves as a key advisor on security matters to management and ensures a safe and secure environment for all stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Security Operations**
- Oversee and manage the Security Department, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Supervise security staff to ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular reviews of security policies, procedures, and practices.
- Identify and assess potential security risks or hazards, implementing preventative measures.
- Promote a culture of safety and security among all employees.

**Incident Management**
- Handle, document, and follow up on all incidents, including accidents, thefts, and emergencies.
- Investigate reports of loss or damage from guests or staff.
- Coordinate with local authorities during emergencies and maintain good relationships with them.
- Regularly review and update emergency response procedures.

**Training and Development**
- Train and mentor security personnel on their roles and responsibilities.
- Provide ongoing training to enhance the skills and knowledge of the security team.
- Ensure all security staff maintain professional grooming and behavior standards.

**Administrative Duties**
- Conduct daily briefings and debriefings as required.
- Plan and manage duty rosters to ensure optimal staffing levels.
- Manage personnel actions, including leave requests, disciplinary actions, and commendations.
- Participate in department head meetings and cross-departmental coordination.

**Technical and Commercial Responsibilities**
- Monitor and improve service standards in line with hotel policies.
- Conserve resources by promoting energy and water efficiency.
- Support other departments during peak times to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Act as an ambassador for the hotel by building positive relationships with guests and the community.

**Human Resources Responsibilities**
- Provide coaching and counselling to security staff.
- Evaluate team performance objectively and identify areas for improvement.
- Encourage staff development and provide training opportunities for growth.
- Foster a motivating work environment to enhance team morale and productivity.

**Relationships**
- Report directly to Hotel Manager.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security team.
- Collaborate with other hotel managers to support overall operations.
- Interact with guests, government officials, business partners, and the community to enhance the hotel's reputation and safety.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- **Nationality**: Qatari (this position is open to Qatari nationals only).
- Proven experience in security management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage emergencies calmly and professionally.
