**Objective**:

- Pricing & Finalizing the Technical & Commercial offers to the client.
- Preparing Value Engineering Proposals for the projects.
- Preparation of cost estimation for all works (Mechanical/Electrical) and pricing, rate build-up of materials, labour, plants and other misc.

Site visits and assessments of existing site conditions

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Pricing of Mechanical/Electrical works independently
- Preparation of Mechanical/ Electrical Bill of Quantity (BOQ) based on assumptions for design and build projects / tender drawing & Specification includes all works.
- Quantity take off from tender drawing.
- Knowledge in initial review of tender documents including scope of works, condition of contract, contract documents, specification and design drawing.
- Preparation of tender documentation queries to consultants/clients to confirm and collect any missing data.
- Ensure full coordination between all other disciplines/trades has been carried out for all external and internal MEP services.
- Preparation of cost estimation for all works (Mechanical/Electrical) and pricing, rate build-up of materials, labour, plants and other misc.
- Floating enquiries and getting quotations from suppliers/ subcontractors.
- Clarifications to the suppliers/subcontractors to enable them to quote.
- Comparison of quotations from different suppliers / Subcontractors.
- Attend the price negotiation meeting with the subcontractors.
- Maintain and update of approved subcontractor/supplier database.
- Corresponding with consultants/authorities regarding the specification/ technical and BOQ any difference to tender requirements and raise queries for clarification.
- Coordination with design, planning, procurement and other necessary dept. for necessary documents required for the submission.
- Site visits and assessments of existing site conditions.
- Attend the tender clarification meeting with clients.
- Preparation of tender pre-qualification item, like list of subcontractors/supplier, cash flow chart, machinery/ equipment list etc.
- Identify and claim the variations to the client.

**Responsibilities**:

- Bachelors in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/BSc in QS / HD in QS
- Minimum 4-8 years’ experience in MEP estimation in a Company.
- Good working knowledge of forms of contract currently used within the Interior Fit Out industry
- Knowledge of working with MEP based project as a estimator
- Good Experience in AUTO CAD/MS Office and CCS (Candy) would be preferred but not essential.
- Ability to recognize contractual obligations of company, client and its subcontractors.
- Good knowledge in detailed shop drawing, coordination drawings.
- Able to act on own initiative and proactive way.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Driving License is an added advantage
