About the role

Below are some of the key accountabilities:

- Use a combined knowledge of forensic accounting, investigative techniques and applicable legal frameworks to propose and implement solutions and strategies that will enhance Internal Audit’s forensic auditing capabilities.
- Drive forensic and investigative strategy and goals for Internal Audit department.
- Meticulously conduct and lead internal investigations or alleged or suspected violations or corporate policies, including theft, fraud, embezzlement, relevant anti-corruption laws, conflicts of interest, collusion, kickbacks and records falsification, etc.
- Automate applicable forensic techniques, including development of an IA forensic lab, if required.
- Maintain a tracker of applicable legal framework, regulations and guidelines.
- Use data analytic tools to identify business risks and animalities and detect fraud.
- Evaluate processes to identify internal control weaknesses that could result in loss.
- Advise and train Internal Audit team on issues related to investigations and forensic auditing.
- Manage the fraud risk awareness program in the company.
- Perform periodic fraud risk assessment of the organization.
- Cooperate with lawyers and law enforcement authorities.

About you

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, forensic accounting, auditing, finance or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in relevant field.
- Certificate in fraud examination or financial forensics such as CFE.
- Strong experience in handling forensic investigations in a reputable organization.
- Thorough understanding of accounting and legal knowledge, such as Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA)/ Anti-Bribery, Financial Statement Fraud, General Fraud & Misconduct.
- Strong data analytics and investigative abilities.
- Airline experience, Big 4, forensic and/or consulting industries (preferred)
- Experience in IT forensics. (preferred).
