**About the Role**

Qatar Aviation Services Cargo is looking for Custom Clearance Supervisor to join their team based in Doha, Qatar.

The role will support the team in daily operation and coordinate the services effectively and efficiently as per company standard procedures. Manage the processing, customs documentation and clearance of company materials for all shipment consigned to QR subsidiaries. Prepare shift report and task allocation of each shift.

Operational Accountabilities:

- Overall supervision on clearance of company materials.
- Prepares report on shipment released and pending shipment to be cleared on daily basis.
- Work closely with Cargo Services Customs Clearance Officer in planning to clear and release the company materials on time.
- Assist in prioritizing shipment which requires immediate clearance with customs. Collects shipping documents consigned to QR subsidiary.
- Verify and check attached documents for any commercial invoice and packing list.
- Prepares Bayan for shipment inspection.
- Record any damages during inspection.
- Liaise with authorities to ensure goods are cleared.
- Liaise with other agency related to Custom System.
- Secure gate pass once the shipment is inspected and cleared.
- Collection of delivery order for handling charges settlement using debit facility.
- Coordinate with appointed third party/subsidiaries for transportation.
- Coordinate with counter staff for issuance of vehicle pass.
- Direct delivery trucks on the designated dock for loading of cargo.
- Participate in cargo loading to ensure completeness of load, recording shortages and damaged goods.
- Prepares Cargo Damage Report and send to corresponding QR subsidiary.
- Keep records of all goods dispatch.
- Adhere to comply with QAS SOP's - ensure set KPI are met and SOP is followed.
- Responsible for securing authority from subsidiaries in compliance with Customs requirement.
- Coordinate with origin for packing list and commercial invoice if missing.
- Liaise with Customs and other governing authorities for any issues that will arise during clearance of cargo.
- Reports discrepancy to concern subsidiary for any damages during inspection and physical delivery.

**Qualifications**

**About you**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 1-year of job-related experience or 2 years job-related experience with High School qualification.
- Knowledge of Customs clearance operation.
- Excellent in both spoken and written English & Arabic language.
- Knowledge of Import & Export procedures & regulation.

Preferred
- Working experience in Ground Handling, Air Cargo Operations or Warehouse.
- Preferably with Customer Service Experience.
- Familiar with acceptance of Dangerous Goods or Live animals.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office tools.
- Preferably with Qatar Clearance license.
