**About Dieture**:
**Role Overview**:
Food Safety Officer is responsible to ensure that all the staff is practicing good hygiene practices throughout the production in Central Production Kitchen.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Chef with the day-to-day requirements of the Kitchen.
- Maintain the highest level of Food Hygiene & Safety standards in the kitchen.
- Work mostly in the production areas, monitoring that food safety procedures are being followed.
- Ensure proper documentation and records are completed by the responsible parties.
- Problem solving as relates to food and safety issues.
- Perform and record Food Safety inspection and report any irregularities and take proper corrective action.
- Responsible for quality and safety checks for all raw and prepared food products.
- Verify and communicate to appropriate departments any findings as it relates to food safety and/or quality issues.
- Report and assist with correcting any unsanitary conditions in food preparation and food storage/receiving area.
- Report any required maintenance/replacement of food preparation equipment, surfaces and tools.
- Assist to maintain, and update all records, manuals, training procedures, product specification books.
- Assist with preparation for any and all food safety audits.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food premises.
- Conduct supplier’s audits, respectively fill the supplier audit reports and evaluate suppliers.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Preferred to have a HACCP/Food Safety Level 3 trained.
- Applicants should possess relevant educational qualification.
- Work experience of at least 3 years in similar field is needed.
- Experience in inspecting Food premises, write reports, and fill the check-lists.
- Specialized qualification in food safety and hygiene will be an advantage.
- Should possess a track record of food safety and hygiene within the food industry.
- Ability to liaise with all departments.
- Should possess excellent communication skills.
- Very good computer skills.
