**About the role**
As the Payroll Manager, you are responsible for the timely and accurate payment of staff related payments by developing and implementing proper procedures and managing the payroll software (Oracle). Additionally, transformation activities, process optimization and the implementation of a new payroll ERP system form an integral part of this role. You will also take responsibility for ensuring that finance payroll comply with local regulations in regard to WPS (Wages protection scheme, pension and taxes).
**Key responsibilities**
- Manage transformation activities for process optimization.
- Extensive contribution to the design and implementation of the new QR Group payroll ERP system.
- Responsible for automation of the Group payroll activities, including system flow of information with regards to the various variable pay / one-time pay elements to eliminate manual process.
- Manage all payrolls for QR Group employees based in Doha (including posted staff overseas), ensuring payments are made accurately and on time.
- Manage staff full and final settlements for QR Group separated employees ensuring accurate and on time payment. Communicate with employees on individual salary and deduction considerations, through relevant systems to clear employee queries.
- Payroll accounting, taking ownership for the accurate, timely reconciliation of all payroll-related General Ledger accounts.
- Responsible for calculating the effect of changes in the employee population or changes in laws and bylaws.
- Validate and ensure updated recurring payroll information is available in the system to process correct payment through the system. Validate and ensure the collection, calculation, and entry of non-recurring pay elements in the system disburse payroll through Wages Protection System as per MOLSA (Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs) requirements.
- Maintains employee data and protects payroll operational data by keeping information confidential based on QR-Data-security-policy.
- Ensuring the finance payroll team are providing the best possible service to all business units and subsidiaries across the Group.

**About you**
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 10 years of job-related experience
- Excellent command of English language
- Experience in managing a payroll function in a large-scale organization including transformation and ERP migration activities
- Strong Stakeholder Management skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
- Computer literate with knowledge ERP (Oracle or SAP). Thorough knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
