**The Role**:
We are looking for Senior support to work for prestigious clients across the Middle East.

Arabic language proficiency is a key requirement for this role.

**Your profile**:

- 10+ years’ communications experience
- Fluent in Arabic and English, strong Arabic and English writing ability - needs demonstrable experience working and overseeing content in both languages
- Experience of working in communications agency and / or working with government communications in the Middle East region
- Experience in crisis communications
- Needs exceptional client handling and consultancy skills, able to guide workflows and manage teams. Good understanding of local trends and sensitivities
- Able to quickly and efficiently respond to and resolve a sudden issue for a client, with and without senior input

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Advising senior clients and their teams
- Overseeing production of work to the highest level
- Leading on communication strategies from development to execution
- Ability to help train and upskill internal and external teams
- Developing and editing documents that are on message and tailored to clients' target audiences, including annuals plans, proposals and issues management plans
- Motivating team members to produce quality work that meets Portland's high standards. Anticipate challenges and offer proactive solutions
- Overseeing the development of compelling and creative materials that are effectively tailored to target audiences
- Using insights and knowledge of digital trends to support client objectives and strategies
- Supporting team members in managing their workloads and leverage their skills to achieve the best output for your clients
- Playing an active role in the leadership team, raising issues and proactive suggestions for discussion
