**Job Title: Senior Design & Estimation Engineer - CCTV & Access Control Systems**

**Department: ELV / Low Current / Security Systems**
**Experience Level: 10+ Years**
**Reports To: General Manager**
**Location: Qatar**

**Job Summary**
- **Act as a primary liaison between Sales, Pre-Sales, Procurement, and Project teams to ensure smooth coordination and communication on ELV and AV projects.**:

- **Prepare BOQs, cost comparisons, and techno-commercial proposals specifically tailored for ELV and AV systems, meeting project specifications and timelines.**:

- **Negotiate with vendors to secure competitive pricing and terms for ELV and AV equipment, contributing to cost-effective project delivery.**:

- **Lead the preparation of tender documentation, pre-qualification, and material submittals for large-scale ELV and AV projects, including security systems, structured cabling, and audio-visual installations.**:

- **Collaborate with clients to manage budgets, track project progress, and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the successful execution of ELV and AV solutions.**

**Key Responsibilities**

**Design & Engineering**
- **Develop detailed designs and technical drawings for**:

- **CCTV Systems (IP, hybrid, PTZ, analytics-based systems)**:

- **Access Control Systems (RFID, biometric, multi-door controllers)**:

- **Integrated ELV Systems (intercoms, intrusion detection, parking management, etc.)**:

- **Create single-line diagrams, system architectures, shop drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD or Revit.**:

- **Perform site surveys and client consultations to define system requirements.**:

- **Ensure all designs meet regulatory and industry standards (e.g., SIRA, MOI, NFPA, UL, EN, BS).**

**Estimation & Proposal Development**
- **Analyze tender documents, specifications, and drawings to prepare comprehensive material take-offs (MTOs) and BOQs.**:

- **Estimate material, labor, and subcontractor costs with precision.**:

- **Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations for technical and commercial compliance.**:

- **Prepare detailed cost estimation sheets, pricing strategies, and value engineering proposals to optimize budgets.**:

- **Collaborate with the procurement, sales, and project teams to finalize quotations and tender submissions.**

**Documentation & Coordination**
- **Generate complete technical and commercial proposal packages.**:

- **Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, design, procurement, execution).**:

- **Respond to RFIs, clarifications, and design reviews with clients and consultants.**:

- **Provide technical support during project execution when needed.**

**Key Skills & Expertise**
- **Expertise in**:

- **IP & Analog CCTV technologies (Axis, Hikvision, Dahua, Bosch, etc.)**:

- **Access control systems (Honeywell, Lenel, HID, ZKTeco, Suprema, etc.)**:

- **ELV system integration (video intercoms, PA, BMS, fire alarm interfaces)**:

- **Tools & Software**:

- **AutoCAD, Visio, MS Office Suite, Excel Estimation Tools, Revit (optional)**:

- **VMS platforms (Milestone, Genetec, etc.)**:

- **Strong understanding of**:

- **International & local security standards ( MOI, BICSI, etc.)**:

- **Tendering procedures & estimation best practices**

**Education & Certifications**
- **Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication Engineering, or equivalent.**

**Professional Experience**
- **10+ years of experience in ELV System Design and Estimation, particularly CCTV and Access Control.**:

- **Experience managing design and estimation for large-scale commercial, government, industrial, or mixed-use projects across GCC or international markets.**

**Soft Skills**
- **Strong communication & presentation skills**:

- **Leadership in guiding junior engineers and designers**:

- **High attention to detail and accuracy in costing**:

- **Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines**
